Welcome to the Getting Started Guide for Easy DVD Rip!
Here are the tips to successfully rip your DVDs:
| • | Before you run Easy DVD Rip, please UNINSTALL any DVD decrypting programs (e.g. DVD43, AnyDVD, DVDIdle, DVD Region+CSS Free) from your computer if you installed them, then reboot your computer. Those programs can affect the operation of Easy DVD Rip. |
| • | If you think your DVD's may be protected/encrypted, please Click here for more information. |
| • | Ensure the DVD you wish to convert is clean (no finger prints) and not scratched. |
| • | Ensure you have sufficient hard-disk space. |
| • | If you are using external USB DVD drive, please make sure it is connected to the computer directly without using USB hub. |
| • | Read through this Getting Started Guide. |
| • | If you encounter any errors when converting or burning, please refer to our FAQ page. |
How to rip a DVD movie?
Easy DVD Rip has a very simple wizard interface

Note: For AVI output, you must have 3-rd party Video and Audio codecs installed.
XviD (video) and MP3 (audio) codecs are provided with Easy DVD Rip, you can also download the DivX (video) codec here.
