Here you decide which elements of the Video you wish to convert. There are three buttons on the Start Page:
Convert Main Title
Advances the program to Settings and Options page, while enabling the "Main Title" for conversion. The program detects the "Main Title" or "Main Movie" on the inserted DVD and selects it for conversion. All other Titles are deselected. If the program fails to select what you consider to be the "Main Title", then you may easily change the selection in Page 2 to reflect that. The "Main Title" is indicated with a unique icon.
Note: Since the DVD disc doesn't store or mark a "Main Title", the longest Title (in playback time) is assumed to be the "Main" one. That is, it is assumed that the longest video footage is the main attraction (such as a movie) and all other shorter Titles are supplimentary. This can sometimes be incorrect.
Convert All Titles
Advances the program to Settings and Options page. By default, all titles are enabled for conversion.
Convert Chapter (Chapter Splitting/Chapter Merging)
Advances the program to Settings and Options page, while changing the conversion mode of all Titles to Chapter Splitting/Chapter Merging. By default, no title/chapter is enabled for conversion.
Convert Video File
Advances the program to Settings and Options page and open the file-open dialog to allow the user to select one or more media file to convert. All supported file types are shown by default while a more specific filter may be selected from "Files of type" list to show a more limited number of files based on the file type of interest.
Copy to iPod
This will open a help file with instructions on how to copy the converted output files to iPod using iTunes.
Copy to PSP
Advances the program to the Transfer to PSP page, this is the PSP file manager. It detects the connected PSP devices and shows them in the list on the top right. If no PSP is detected, the user may still browse for a destination folder on the computer from the very same list.
